LATE KING BIRENDRA’S 69TH BIRTHDAY OBSERVED Kathmandu, 29 Dec.: The 69th birthday of Late King Birthday—the 10th king of the Shah dynasty-- was observed Saturday. His statue was garlanded at Jawalakhel.. Crown Princ e Birendra gunned down his parents, brother Nirajan and sister Shruti 11 years ago a dinner reception for the family in Narayanhiti. The carnage ultimately toppled the dynasty.
